Restaurant Hradčany located at the luxury Hotel Savoy in Prague, introduced a new a la carte menu in the form of a Sunday brunch on 13th March. The attendance was great and the guests were impressed – the entertainment programme with a touch of history and excellent dishes pleased everyone regardless of age.
At the entrance to the Restaurant Hradčany, the guests were greeted by a welcome drink and afterwards a tap dance performance took place followed by various refreshments. Avocado tartare with poached egg, green asparagus and Japanese cherry blossom herbs supplemented with truffle pesto, shrimps and scallops with sea algae in tempura served with spinach cream, fine cream from crayfish supplemented by poached egg and crisps from lotus root, veal tenderloin served on ragout from oyster mushroom, roasted batatas and thyme glace... All of this and many more represented the new a la carte menu, which you can soon taste in the Restaurant Hradčany.
During brunch, children familiarized themselves with historic amusements and toys – they were making rag dolls, they learnt to use spinning tops and play marbles, they also played hide-and-seek and learnt to tap dance. At the end of the brunch they prepared crème brulée in the kitchen for their parents while being duly dressed in aprons and chef’s hats, all under the supervision of Chef Pavel Kutina.
Shortly after 3PM, the satisfied guests slowly left and made their way home.

The taste of Asia - 17. 1. 2016
Prague luxurious Hotel Savoy has opened the new brunch season on January 17 by organizing of Sunday brunch “The taste of Asia” at hotel Restaurant Hradčany. Guests had an opportunity to taste Asian specialities and got involved to entertaining program.
At 12 PM. Samurai showed different types of Asian Martial Arts, followed by a brief history lecture and an interactive children's workshop. Important guests from diplomatic society came before 12:30 PM. Rich buffet full of Asian specialties, from Vietnamese soup Pho bo chin, over the variations of Asian and rice noodles to the selection of nigiri, sashimi, temaki, gunkan and maki prepared in front of the guests by sushiman followed on.
Children and adults learnt about Asia through the quizzes, pairs with flags and puzzles with typical Asian figures. Fortune oracles and workout of dining with chopsticks could not miss. Children has got an opportunity to make a sushi by self with chef’s assist lead by the Chef Petr Patočka, directly in the hotel kitchen.
The traditional plum wine was served at the conclusion and guests slowly dispersed to their homes.

Advent brunch - 6. 12. 2015
Hotel Savoy has opened the Christmas period on December 6 by organizing of Advent brunch at Restaurant Hradčany. Guests had an opportunity to taste Christmas specialities and got involved to entertaining program.
Guest were welcomed by singing choir at stylish Anglo-saxon library by fireplace. Than guests moved to a restaurant to indulge delicacies prepared by our kitchen team led by the Chef Petr Patočka – for example seafish velouté with poached crayfish, Foie gras terrine on pear salad, sheep cheese with gingerbread and pecan nuts in caramel and homemade chutney, beef cheeks in its own juice with rosemary, salmon larded with seabass, minidessert‘s variation and orange créme brulée.
Children together with the Chef were carving and decorating the gingerbreads, creating the Christmas decors, decorating the Christmas tree and were rehearsing the hell orchestra under the leadership of the devil.

Fairy Tale brunch – Following of a series of gastronomic events at luxury Hotel Savoy
Luxury 5 * Hotel Savoy held the second brunch in sequence on September 20. This time, fairytale brunch was held in the unique environment of Restaurant Hradčany. Entertainment in addition to delicious food was waiting for guests.
Fairy Amálka sweet rings stuffed with vanilla cream and Křemílek miniburgers were the favourite food of children, oysters and Argentine sirloin marinated in fresh herbs were the favourite food of adults. Animators in witch costume took care of the children's entertainment.
„There was really Fairy Tale atmosphere." Nice witches took care . of the children's entertainment and I together with my husband enjoyed delicacies. It was really great afternoon.“ one of the guests said.

Luxury 5 * Hotel Savoy opened the season of culinary events by the first Sunday brunch which was held on the terrace of the newly renovated conference space Savoy Lounge on August 30. Delicacies, entertaining program with raffle and beautiful weather was waiting for our guests. Guest had an opportunity to win gift vouchers for two persons to enjoy culinary events held in September - week of Mexican cuisine, Fairy Tale brunch or Saint Wenceslas menu.
„We have enjoyed the afternoon fully. The magician welcomed us directly at the entry, the food was really delicious and the entertainment? We were decorating the cupcakes all together, " one of the guests said.
Adults have been charmed by oysters, sushi and sashimi and tuna tartare, children appreciated the ice-cream, traditionally. Magician Martin Kellman took care of the children's and adult's entertainment followed by Chef Petr Patočka, who decorated the cupcakes with guests.
